Scope of Work
The contract outlines the meticulous attention to detail required by Flowpro. They are tasked with providing all necessary materials, equipment, labor and expertise for the proper functioning of hydraulic systems. This includes adherence to detailed specifications and drawings provided by Link Alliance (LKA), ensuring seamless integration with the overall project design.
Hydraulic Services Description
Flowpro’s responsibilities extend to crucial aspects of station functionality. They oversee sanitary plumbing and drainage, stormwater drainage, cold and hot water services, as well as the installation of sanitary fixtures and tapware. This broad scope ensures the smooth operation of essential utilities within stations such as Aotea, Karangahape and Mt Eden.
Project Overview
The City Rail Link Project involves the construction of a 3.4km double-track rail tunnel beneath Auckland’s city center, connecting existing rail networks and incorporating new stations. Stations like Karangahape and Aotea are deep underground structures with complex requirements for hydraulic systems, while Mt Eden Station undergoes significant expansion to accommodate the project’s needs.
Adherence to Specifications
Flowpro’s work is governed by strict adherence to specifications and drawings provided by LKA. Any deviations require formal approval to maintain project integrity and safety standards.
